The Philadelphia City All Star Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 1992 to perpetuate the memory of athletes, male and female, who have brought lasting fame and recognition to Pennsylvania through their athletic achievements. Also eligible are those individuals who have brought similar recognition the state through their contributions to sports in gereral managerial, promotional or other influentioal capacities.
